I'm so happy I have this chance to thank Dr. Reynolds for both his skill as a surgeon and his care and compassion as a doctor. I was in shock when at 37 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and told that I would have to have a mastectomy. I was even more devastated after looking at before and after pictures of reconstruction on the internet. I thought that my life would never be the same and I'd never feel normal again. However, after our first unhurried consultation with Dr. Reynolds I came away with a total understanding of the procedure and a complete confidence in Dr. Reynolds abilities. He took great care in addressing all of mine and my husbands concerns to ensure that we were fully informed. His in-depth and very personable initial patient consultation brought me in overwhelming sense of comfort and peace in knowing that he should be the surgeon to perform my procedure. Throughout the process, from the initial consultation through post-op follow-ups, Dr. Reynolds made us truly believe that he was taking a personal interest in the outcome. We are sure he was as concerned as we were for my comfort, well-being and cosmetic results. His involvement and commitment to me far surpassed any that every other doctor involved in my case showed. After the surgery Dr. Reynolds showed a level of follow-up care in the hospital that even the staff nurses noticed and mentioned to us was remarkable for a surgeon these days. Finally, and most importantly, the cosmetic results of his work are much, much better than we had hoped for. We had scoured the internet looking at before/after pictures of breast reconstructions; the results that Dr. Reynolds was able to achieve were far and away 10 times better than any of the "best" we had seen. Not only was I able to feel normal again but I think that I look better than I did before. The bottom line is that we found Dr. Reynolds to be a tremendously caring individual with the skills to pull off a result at which we still marvel. Thanks Doc.
