The Restylane® Treatment

Anesthesia for the Restylane® injections can be either topical anesthetic (cream) or a nerve block (similar to the dentist's office). Side effects and complications of Restylane® injections are few. Some mild redness may occur for 4-12 hours as well as some mild bruising, especially if you are taking aspirin or ibuprofen. Make-up can be used following the Restylane® treatment if needed.
